The Storm Prediction Center has placed a good portion of NE Oklahoma into the slight risk area for severe storms for today and tonight.

This afternoon, isolated severe storms could form this afternoon mainly NW of I44. These storms severe threat will be large hail and damaging winds.

Tonight, a line of storms is expected to form west and northwest of Tulsa and move into NE OK. The primary threats are large hail with an increasing damaging wind threat as the evening progress. An isolated tornado can not be ruled out.

Severe storms are again expected on Wednesday as a cold front pushes through.
Heavy rain, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado as possible with these storms.

Flooding could become an issue tonight through Thursday morning as widespread 2.5-3.5 inch rainfall amounts are expected.
